TRAVEL DIARY: A FEW DAYS IN BUDAPEST

If you follow me on Instagram, you're probably already sick of me sharing photos from my recent trip to Budapest. And if that's the case... well you're not going to like the overflow of pictures that's about to follow #sorrynotsorry.
About a month ago now (yes I've been terrible at blogging recently), Sam and I packed our bags for our second trip of the year and headed to a city that's been at the top of my bucket list for a while now. We spent two and a half days there and I honestly couldn't recommend visiting enough! The city is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful architecture in every direction. But the thing I most loved about Budapest was the calmness of the city - I'm not really sure how to describe it, but everyone and everything seemed so relaxed, chilled out and care free . As much as I love cities like London, where the hustle and bustle is all part of experiencing the capital, Budapest was the complete opposite for all the right reasons.
As usual, we managed to squeeze plenty of activities into our short time there, a lot of which are captured below. However, we visited some great places on the evenings which there are no pictures of (bad lighting - ugh), but if you were ever to visit Budapest, I would 100% recommend visiting the Ruin Bars! They're old and quirky and a really great unique experience!
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now, here are some pretty pictures...

Rowing on Városligeti-tó (so much fun - I would definitely recommend!)

I absolutely loved this trip and it's definitely one of my favourite places I've visited!
If you ever get the chance to go do not turn it down!
