Autumn is definitely one of my favourite times of the year (of course, second to Christmas), I just find the whole atmosphere of Autumn very relaxing and calming. It's at that stage where it's starting to get a little colder, but not too unbearable because there's still a decent amount of sunshine - Which makes it just the right temperature to cuddle up in some blankets and stick a film on without feeling like a total sloth. Ideal, right?
So I thought I'd just create a little list of all of the best things to do in Autumn, that will make you feel relaxed, calm and happy, without spending (hardly) any money.
Isn't it lovely to pretend you're rich and sit and sip cocktails all day from fancy bars? Ahhh, the high life! There's so many lovely cocktail bars in Newcastle that last weekend it was just too hard to resist. And we quickly realised that once we started, it was a great struggle to stop! Last month I took a big girl step and moved into my very own one bedroom flat! It was such a big change for me and a huge adjustment from living in an 8 bedroom shared student house. For the last 3 years I've been surrounded by 8 people (often more) constantly being in the house. It was messyand loud, but needless to say it was great fun, and for me, it was without a doubt the best part about going to university - living with your 8 amazing
This weekend myself and Sam decided to take a little day trip to Durham. Durham is only around at 15 minute train ride from Newcastle, so it makes a nice and cheap day out, and a lovely change from the typical city sights of Newcastle. We were hoping to explore Durham Castle, as we didn't get chance to last time we visited. However, we unknowingly picked the wrong day, as it turned out to be the Durham Freshers move in date - which meant the entire castle
